Information we process

When you order, we process the contact, billing, delivery and order information you provide. When you contact us or subscribe to our newsletter, we process the information you submit for that purpose. Website operation can also involve IP addresses, browser information, account information and cookie preferences.

Payment details are handled through Stripe. Do not send card numbers or security codes through our contact form or by email. Contact and delivery details requested as required at checkout are needed to process and deliver your order; without them we may be unable to fulfil it. Newsletter signup is optional.

Why we use your information

We use order information to take steps at your request and fulfil your purchase contract. We retain records needed to meet accounting and other legal obligations. We use relevant technical information to protect the website and prevent misuse, based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure shop.

Newsletter subscriptions and optional marketing cookies are based on consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in newsletter emails or contact us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Service providers and transfers

Hosting, maintenance and backup providers process website and order data to keep the store available and secure. The delivery service is selected according to the destination and suitability of the shipment; it receives the contact and delivery details needed to deliver your order. Stripe and Automattic operate internationally and may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their published transfer arrangements include recognised adequacy frameworks and European Commission standard contractual clauses where applicable. How long we keep information

We keep order and accounting records for the period required by applicable laws. Other information is retained only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, taking account of enquiries, disputes and security requirements. Newsletter contact details are kept until you unsubscribe, subject to any records needed to demonstrate and respect your preferences.
